Description

This Stained Glass Air Plant Holder is in the form of a tiny house with simple, clean lines. Originally designed as an air plant holder, it’s also great for holding dried flowers or small keepsakes. Make this house a home by filling it with your favorite things!

The Stained Glass Air Plant Holder is constructed using the copper foil (Tiffany) method. Each piece of clear glass is individually cut and ground to size, and the edges are dressed. The edges of each piece are wrapped in copper foil, which is then burnished. The six pieces are soldered together to form the house. After inspection and cleaning a patina is applied, and then polished. As the final step, each diamond is thoroughly cleaned and waxed.

The Tiny House measures 3.75″ x 2.75″ x 4″

An air plant and other decorative filler are included.

This is such a beautiful piece, I’m a bit jealous I bought it as a gift! Shipping was fast, it arrived quickly. I had purchased a piece from this artist at a local craft fair and had to find her online. I was so happy to find another piece I love and can’t wait to gift it. This is a gorgeous little house. Made beautifully. Soldering work is exceptional. Currently housing my carnivorous sundew and he loves it. Will buy from again definitely.
