Description

The Hamsa symbolizes the Hand of God, and is considered a universal sign of protection, power, and strength. This handmade stained glass hamsa suncatcher brings a splash of color and beauty to any space.

These hamsa suncatchers are crafted using the copper foil (Tiffany) method. After cutting each piece of glass the edges are dressed to remove the sharp edges, and each piece is wrapped in copper foil, which is then burnished. The pieces are soldered together, and a hanger is attached. A copper or black patina is applied and then polished. As the final step, each hamsa is thoroughly cleaned and waxed.

These Stained Glass Hamsa Suncatchers measure approximately 3″ wide x 4-1/4″ high, not including the chain.
